How to Style & Care for Your Linen Dresses

A linen dress can be one easy piece or part of a simple set. Wear a shirt dress or smock dress with bare legs and sandals, then add tights and boots as the temperature drops. Wrap dresses work well for the office with flats or loafers, while sleeveless styles layer neatly under a linen jacket or over a long sleeve top. Many of our colors repeat across dresses, tops and outerwear, so you can build a small group of pieces that mix and match.

Linen is made from the flax plant, which generally needs less water and fewer inputs than many other fibers. We cut and sew each dress to order in our family studio in Lithuania, so we avoid overproduction and focus on quality. A well made linen dress can stay in your wardrobe for many seasons, becoming softer and more comfortable the more you wear and wash it.

Linen care is simple. We usually suggest machine washing on a gentle cycle with similar colors, then air drying on a hanger or flat. Avoid very high heat in the dryer to keep the fabric strong over time. You can wear your dress with its natural texture or give it a light press if you prefer a smoother look.
